Pele and Robbie Fowler praise Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo

Brazilian legend Pele quotes that Lionel Messi is similar to him, during an interview with FIFA Weekly magazine.

When asked about his favorite player, he said, "I really can't compare those four players. It's impossible to answer that question. Ronaldo and Ibrahimovic are more similar, but Ribery is a classic playmaker, and Messi simply can't be compared with anybody."

While in another interview, Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler told reporters, "I have a soft corner for Cristiano. I think he deserved to win the Ballon D'Or. He has been fantastic throughout the season, I want Messi to do well. He has not done well for his country in the World Cup. I just think he will have a big World Cup this time. Messi has been struggling with injuries this season and even before his (Messi's) injury, Suarez was doing better. So I said Suarez was better than Messi this season."

I think he has shown that consistently. It seems he hasn't scored fewer than two goals every game since I have been here and at the moment, for me, he’s the world’s best player. I think he has proved that week in, week out and the number of goals he has scored this season is just mind-blowing." he said.
