UEFA Champions League: Manchester United Vs Bayer Leverkusen review

Man United started with 4-2 win as Rooney made it 200.

overcoming on an injury to the head, Wayne Rooney has proved again that he has not missed his class anywhere,scoring twice in the match and assisting once against Bayer Leverkusen yesterday and putting a side on the top of group with three points.England international became fourth man in club's history to score 200 goals after Sir Bobby Charlton(249 goals),Denis Law(237 goals) and Jack Rowley(211 goals).

Since Sir Alex Ferguson retired, there are many transfer speculations about the striker. But Rooney proved that he will always be there in Manchester. He put United on driving seat after 22 mins. with a stunning goal. 

But then again in second half, Leverkusen captain Rolfes come with an equaliser on  54th min. After five minutes Robin Van Persie struck on 59th minute with a shot from where it looked like he was offside.
After nearly 10 minutes later, with a long kick from De Gea which caused confusion in the Leverkusen defence and Wayne Rooney took control over ball and hit it to the post, thereby reaching a milestone of 200 goals in his club carreer.

With just 10 mins. left, legend again showed his class with an accurate pass to Antonio Valencia on 79th minute which he converted into a goal which extended the lead to 4-1.
With three minutes left, Toprak got a consolation goal on a corner.

It was a magical night for both David Moyes and Wayne Rooney.Reds will have next champions league match against Shakhtar Donetsk on 2nd october.
